     BAD GAS SYMPTOMS
  •  Stalling, hesitation, clogged filters and dried out hoses can be caused by too high levels of alcohol in gas.   Ethanol fuel or ethyl alcohol, is an alcohol additive that is commonly used in nearly all gasoline in the United States.
  •  Because today's gasoline contains ethanol it absorbs water if exposed to air.   In many cases, the operator is unaware that their gasoline has become contaminated with water, and unintentionally pours it into their unit.
     PREVENT ACCIDENTAL ABSORPTION OF WATER
  •  Purchase only enough fuel to last about 30 days.   This helps assure that you are always using fresh, uncontaminated gasoline.   For two-stroke engines, only mix enough fuel that will be used within the next 30 days.
  •  Store fuel with as little exposure to air as possible, avoid containers with vent caps.
  •  Fuel stabilizers can't fix all the problems associated with ethanol - the ethanol is still present in the fuel.

Stihl MotoMix contains NO ethanol, allowing it to maintain stability for up to two years after the seal is broken - so it stays fresh in your equipment during long storage periods.   MotoMix is also made of non-aromatic fuel and fully synthetic, highly biodegradable engine oil.
